Primary Staff Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD) - Young Adults Physical/Learning Disabilities - Hereford, West Midlands - £24,000 £27,885 pro rata Working hours: Short shifts, early/late or long shifts are possible Enhancements: Plus enhanced pay for nights This is a fantastic opportunity to work for registered charity providing lifelong and respite care for young people with profound intellectual and physical disabilities. As a Primary Staff Nurse you will be working as the nurse in charge on shift but will also be responsible for the care of specific residents and their needs. This role is perfect for a nurse who is looking for a challenging and rewarding position in which they can develop themselves both personally and professionally. You will be a Staff Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD) with experience working in a clinical care setting looking for an exciting new Staff Nurse position a highly regarded nursing home for young adults with physical and learning disabilities in Hereford, West Midlands. As a Primary Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD) your responsibilities will be: •Deliver the highest standards of care with dignity and respect •Develop, review and update care plans •Comply with all legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines •Ensure medicines are appropriately received, stored and administered •Ensure all relevant policies and procedures are read, understood are adhered to by all staff. •Provide clinical leadership & supervision for the healthcare staff •Participate in the induction and training of all new staff on the unit •Supervise and monitor standards of care and take appropriate action to improve standards when required •Ensure all clinical documentation is well maintained and filed in the appropriate places The ideal candidate for this Primary Nurse role (RGN, RMN, RNLD) will have: •A Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD) qualification •A current and valid registration with the NMC and have a legal right to work in the UK •Up to date knowledge of current practices •A full CRB disclosure For full job description or to discuss the role further please call Alice Cartwright on: 0161 235 6966 or send your CV to:
