Appointments and Information Officer – Medical Sector – up to £26,000 Our client based in central London is currently looking for an experienced Appointments and Information Officer to join their professional team. The role is to work within the Healthcare sector therefore the right candidate needs to come back from a Medical/Healthcare background. Liaise with Secretaries, Patients and Consultants in a professional and friendly manner at all times Deal with large volume of incoming telephone and internet enquiries Input appointments into Consultants’ diaries and confirm these with their assigned PA Confirm appointment details with the clients – date/time/preparation Build and maintain relationships with referring doctors and organisations Input and prepare monthly monitoring information on referrals Deal with client queries in a professional and timely manner Take client payments details and ensure confidentiality Handle incoming mail and deal with these accordingly Other adhoc duties will apply Attributes Experience of working within the Healthcare sector as an Appointments Admin Officer Excellent communication skills – verbal and written Medical Terminology is required for this role Be passionate about customer service Strong Admin skills and experience
