Specialising in the management and treatment of mental health problems including addictions and eating disorders, our multidisciplinary team deliver personalised treatment programmes and have established an excellent reputation for providing the highest standards of care. We have a position in our Child and Adolescent Eating Disorder Mental Health Service (CAMHS). The successful candidate will need to hold a medical degree (MB ChB or equivalent), full GMC registration with licence to practice and a minimum of one year's experience in mental health. Key Accountabilities: Liaising with the Ward Consultant to provide effective clinical duties . Day to day management of patients on the ward including the undertaking of risk assessments, MDT liaison, outcome measurements. Prompt mental health assessments, reports and clinical summaries. The post holder must have proficient ICT skills to use our electronic record system (Carenotes) and produce reports. Participating in audit, research, quality and performance management, as well as assessment of risk and other appropriate clinical, management and professional activities. Participation in an on:call rota with cross:cover for annual leave, study leave and short term absence.
