A Manchester based construction company with an established and enviable reputation across the social housing market, is currently recruiting for a Bid Writer to join their busy team. Working across a mixture of new build housing and social housing refurbishment projects, they are looking for someone with experience in these areas already to hit the ground running. The Bid Writer Role : What will it entail? The successful Bid Writer will be responsible for producing Tenders and Proposals, award submissions and other tender supporting documents as requested by the Bid Manager : but not PQQs. You must be able to manage your own workload, though guidance and support will always be provided by the Bid Manager, and you should ensure the timely delivery and prep of proposals through to their submission. The successful Bid Writer will have: * Strong presentational, layout and editing skills with good written English skills * Creative writing abilities * Solid experience of bid/proposal writing, business/client focused written documentation * Knowledge and experience of new build and refurbishment housing works and bids * Experienced in writing bids for projects with values up to AGBP2.5m * Production of tender support documents, tender submission documents and presentations * Maintaining a Tender Information Library and tender log * Assemble information from other areas of the company ie technical or commercial staff You should have a good positive attitude, great mannerism with clients, be able to build strong relationships and be driven to contribute effectively to this growing team.
