Job description:
Senior IT Security Engineer is required to join a highly respected and progressive company from their head office based in central Southampton. The role of Senior IT Security Engineer will involve working across the full IT remit, ensuring that all IT security requirements for my client, who has a large online presence is being maintained. You will be responsible for the ongoing development and design, continuing improvements, penetration testing and where required, maintenance and monitoring. The role will also involve working alongside other teams covering all aspects of infrastructure throughout the full lifecycle. The correct individual for the Senior IT Security Engineer role will be working within a network security role at the moment and if possible have an industry recognised qualification. You will have a strong depth of knowledge within: * IT Networking * Mixed Windows and Linux environment * IT Security Architecture * Penetration Testing Where required you will be expected to get involved with forensic investigations / analysis so any experience around this area would be beneficial. As you will be working alongside other internal teams your communications skills, both written and verbal, must be strong.
