A leading care provider is seeking a Clinical Ward Manager, either RMN or RNLD, to join a purpose built psychiatric intensive care unit (PICU) located in South West London.The company itself is a large established care provider of Adult Mental Health, Specialist Brain Injury and Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services.The Hospital provides supports service users with complex health needs, challenging behaviours, Individuals who are detained under the Mental Health Act. The services provided are Forensic Mental Health, Psychiatric Mental Health for both males and females.The main duties include: . The day to day running of the ward. . Ensuring that the care delivered on the ward but the staff team is of the highest quality . Supervising and developing more junior staff on the ward . Managing the Rota . Implementing, providing input into and assisting in the planning of individual care plans and risk management programmesKey skills required include: . Ideally RMN qualified, or RNLD with significant Mental Health experience . Experience of working at a similar level in a service . Significant supervisory experience in a similar role .
