Role: Senior Data Architect Location: Bristol, Bath Salary: £50-£60,000 plus excellent benefits A Senior Data Architect is required for one of the UKs best known businesses, they are one of the most profitable companies in the UK and currently listed on the FTSE 250. They have recently initiated a new Big Data RnD team and require a Senior Data Architect to join the team, this is a great opportunity to be at the start of their data journey and to help lead and shape their data strategy. Skills: * 3 years experience with working in a Big Data team building and testing commercial applications. * PhD graduates from a Maths, Stats, Economics or similar field would be an advantage but applications from candidates with Masters Degrees in similar fields would also be considered. * Hadoop, Python, Big Data * Development background would be desirable. * Strong communication skills The team environment in this company is second to none and there is a strong sense of community within the company.
