EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT   The Global Innovation Fund is a $200m non-profit innovation fund headquartered in London. We invest in the piloting, rigorous testing and scaling of innovations targeted at improving the lives of the poorest people in developing countries. The fund aims to support a portfolio of innovations that collectively open up opportunities and improve lives for hundreds of millions of people across the developing world.   We believe that the best ideas for solving some of the world’s most critical problems can come from anyone, anywhere. Through our grants and risk capital, we support breakthrough solutions to global development challenges from social enterprises, for-profit firms, non-profit organisations, researchers, and government agencies.   The Global Innovation Fund offers grants, loans (including convertible debt), and equity investments ranging from $50,000 to $15 million to support a range of innovations with strong potential for social impact at a large scale. We define ‘innovation’ broadly to include new business models, policy practices, technologies, behavioural insights, or ways of delivering products and services that benefit the poor in developing countries. We support innovators at different phases of development, ranging from early start-up and pilot-testing to larger scale implementation. The innovations the fund supports can be located in any developing country and may focus on any sector relevant to international development.   POSITION SUMMARY The fund seeks to hire an Executive Assistant to the CEO and Senior Leadership Team. The Executive Assistant will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team, reporting to the CEO, and be involved in a broad range of functions, providing a confidential, effective and efficient support service to the CEO and Senior Leadership Team. Responsibilities will include: *  Supporting the CEO and Senior Leadership Team on increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of their day to day work; * Arranging and co-ordinating travel logistics, including registration for international conferences and arranging visas; * Organising and maintaining diaries. Scheduling meetings, telephone conferences and appointments and facilitating their setup; *  Prioritising requests for meetings and ensure effective use of senior management team’s time; * Drafting and transcription of documents and presentations for internal and external use; * Responding to requests for materials regarding the CEO and Senior Leadership Team; * Assisting with preparing the materials for meetings e.g. agendas, presentations and minutes; *  Some office organisation and management such as meeting and greeting guests and buying stationary for the team; *  Preparing meeting spaces and catering as required; * Supporting email management for the CEO and Senior Leadership Team as agreed; * Identifying opportunities for improving efficiency and implement them : standardising processes and helping to keep office costs low; * Providing administrative support to the team on tasks that have strong administrative or logistical components; * Contributing to building the organisation into a successful and impactful venture. The Global Innovation Fund is a dynamic and rapidly growing start-up entity; the Executive Assistant will be expected to adapt quickly to the needs of the organisation and could have a range of other duties as assigned.   EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS EXPECTATIONS * Extensive experience supporting (preferably multiple) senior managers, ideally in a non-profit or start-up environment; * Strong organisational skills that reflect ability to multi-task and prioritise; * Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint required; * Experience with making Google Docs, Calendar, and Drive useful, effective, and efficient preferred; * Experience with other systems for knowledge management and record keeping such as Box, Dropbox, Slack
