We are currently looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager who will take control and responsibility for the smooth and efficient operation of the maintenance department. You will ensure that all of the onsite facilities are maintained to the highest standards. You will respond to all requests for maintenance. Responsibilities. - To manage 8-10 members of the maintenance team and delegate instructions regarding any new and outstanding repairs. - Organising work schedules. - Ensure all work carried out is done so within the H&S requirements. - Ordering materials and submitting purchase orders. - To post inspect works carried out and ensure that they meet the required standards. The Person. - Must be computer literate. - Must be a hands-on manager who has excellent attention to detail. - Ability to manage own work load together with organising team schedules. - Able to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines. - Good communication skills. - Must have previous experience in a similar role. - Must have all round understanding of general repairs, pluming and carpentry. Additional information. - Working hours are Monday to Friday 08:30-18:00. - Should be flexible to work weekends if and when required. - Salary £25-30k.
