Commercial Account Executive Location: Hull Salary: £20,000 - £40,000 DOE Our client is a market leading insurance broker in their chosen sector of commercial insurance. A fantastic opportunity has developed within the Hull Office for a Commercial Account Executive to service an and develop an existing client portfolio in the Hull Area. Your role will be to provide the highest level of service across your commercial portfolio whilst also looking to increase book size through cross sales, referrals and new business efforts. Responsibilities: Reporting to Regional Director undertaking sales, business development and account management duties in accordance with the Company’s requirements. Identify and develop new business in line with Company objectives, involving working to set targets for the area you cover. To successfully broke new business enquiries and insurance renewals and provide a first class service to clients by fulfilling their insurance requirements. Build and maintain effective professional relationships with clients, insurers and other staff within the Company. Build up detailed knowledge about the companys products and offer advice about existing products and promoting value added services. Handle and respond to product queries from clients quickly, efficiently and accurately. To provide insurers and underwriters with accurate information to ensure they can assess each risk correctly. Keep abreast of market conditions and developments and physical and alarm security procedures. To liaise with colleagues to share information about the current insurance marketplace, and to assist them with any insurance queries. Negotiate deals within the industry market in order to meet client demands and remain competitive. Deliver presentations to clients and occasionally representing the business at exhibitions, etc. Manage account relationships with designated clients, acting as primary point of contact for clients from a sales and business development perspective. To comply with FCA Rules and Regulations. Skills A proven track record with 3+ years in a client facing insurance role Good knowledge of insurance commercial insurance products Excellent customer service skills and telephone manner. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to gather and analyse information for the client and resolve problems. Ability to identify and match products with client requirements, persuade and influence others.
