Job description:
JOB DUTIES : High profile role involves maximising bookings for events, conferences and planning each event to ensure maximum client satisfaction. You will ensure that meetings, conferences, wedding parties and other events proceed smoothly by keeping in close contact with the clients so that their needs are always met. You will be responsible for preparing quotes, making follow up phone calls with prospective clients, holding meetings. You will follow through with client requests and work closely with other departments for smooth operation of the event. OTHER INFO : Application must include: Full details of qualifications. Essential Qualifications: A minimum of a level 5 qualification in Hospitality/Events or a closely related discipline. High level of computer literacy, to include all Microsoft Office Applications, Word, Excel and Outlook. Essential Experience: Previous relevant experience working in a similar role within the hospitality/events industry. Essential Requirements: Strong communication skills. Demonstrable customer awareness with a passion to deliver excellent customer service and a welcoming manner. Excellent planning, organizing and prioritising skills. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work to deadlines and maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
