Job Description Health and Social Care Social Care Assistants - Days Various locations Salary: £14,796- £16,683 (pro-rata for part time). Additional working time payments may apply depending on exact shift pattern worked. Hours: full and part time Social care is a challenging and rewarding career Our care staff work with some of Edinburgh’s older and more vulnerable citizens, people from different backgrounds and of all abilities. You will also help with personal care such as bathing and dressing, provision of meals and administration of medication. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by the City of Edinburgh Council.
