International Decorative Surfaces are the UK’s largest specialist distributor of decorative surface materials, with an unrivalled product portfolio spanning flooring, worksurfaces, laminates, panel products, solid surfacing and wall panelling.The following exciting opportunity currently exists to manage the Branch Operations at Woodford Green in the South.Warehouse and Logistics Manager – Woodford GreenYou will lead, coach and develop the operational team of 20 staff to achieve operational excellence in the branch, whilst ensuring that the highest standards of Health and Safety are maintained.Reporting to the Southern Operations Manager you will share our 100% dedication in delivering excellent customer service and continue to actively promote this culture within the branch.You must be sales focussed with experience of stocking, picking and delivering products via a multi-drop fleet system. Stock management and integrity stock control will also be vital.Distribution experience is desired however not essential, but a proven track record in implementation and delivery of high operational standards is far more important to us. Previous experience of leading anoperations team with the ability to implement change is desirable.Skills & Experience RequiredRisk Assessments & Manual handling trainingCPC & Health and Safety accreditationsCosts/Sales and MarginawarenessExperience of managing an operational teamIT literate and competent in ExcelFull driving licenceWaste Management (1SO 14001)Responsibilities will include:Developing a team that understands and delivers first class serviceDrive and improve Health and Safety throughout the siteManage the whole stock integrity processes within the branchImprove the site standards, aiming for excellence in all sectorsFleet and route management.
