Chef Manager : Assisted Living : Potters Bar : GBP12 per hour My client is a contract catering company who have successfully positioned themselves in the Healthcare sector, providing a quality catering service to their clients and customers. An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Chef Manager to manage the catering operation within an upmarket residential facility. You will be responsible for the day to day management of the kitchen including menu planning, health and hygiene, staff development and providing meals to the residents on a daily basis to a very high standard. You will work closely with the Home Manager ensuring all the clients needs are met. You will provide a lunchtime a la carte service. You will work within a small team providing high quality dishes to the residents. My client is looking for a confident, experienced Chef Manager with a genuine passion for great food and excellent service. You must have a "can do " attitude and have previous experience of working within a similar environment and an understanding of nutrition and dietary needs is advantageous, although not essential. Excellent cheffing skills is a must. You will have good financial acumen, strong communication skills, attention to detail and also have the ability to raise standards through innovation and new ideas. Personality is key in this role.
