Band 5 Staff Nurses - Mental Health Care of Older People. Dementia Assessment services. Are you passionate about working with older people, committed to improving the experience of patients suffering from dementia, brave enough to challenge tradition, curious enough to explore the many new and exciting interventions we can use and patient enough to work with people slowly and sensitively to help them and their families look at ways of living with dementia? If the answer is yes then .. We have a purpose built older persons service which truly believes in offering the very best care to people who require dementia assessment and short term in patient care. Committed to using a range of interventions, with a real emphasis on supporting families, friends so they can continue to provide support and care to their family member, this service uses creativity, sensitivity and a robust multi-disciplinary team approach to ensure care is always person centred. We are looking for compassionate, resilient, resourceful and sensitive staff nurses who want to work with this patient group and want to be part of the exciting devolvement’s and innovative work happening within dementia assessment care . Whether you are about to qualify, are newly qualified or an experienced established nurse we want to hear from you.
