They must be an energetic, motivated and personable individual who is able to provide a fun, and exciting learning experience while being assertive and respected by their pupils. Professionalism and reliability are equally important to maintain strong working relationships with our clients. A PE Specialist is required to demonstrate excellent knowledge, be versatile and be willing to support other  departments as well as work with and support junior employees, by setting an example and demonstrating professional and best practice. This requires a candidate who is able to travel to various locations during the week and must have excellent organisation and time management skills, as well as a wide knowledge and passion for sport. Candidates must hold at least a NGB Level 2 coaching badge and already have the knowledge to create  and deliver fun, educational and safe lessons for pupils of all ages and abilities for various sports and establishments. Key Responsibilities Teaching relevant skills, tactics and techniques against objectives set for the lesson in a specific sport. Deliver fun, engaging and educational lessons. Excellent knowledge each establishments expectations and requirements Monitoring and enhancing performance by providing tuition, encouragement and constructive feedback. Identifying strengths and weaknesses. Advising about health and lifestyle issues. Developing adapting schemes of work. Maintain positive relationships with all prospective and existing clients and customers. Take responsibility for the health and safety of others and ensure safe use of premises and equipment. Planning and creating fun, inspiring and engaging lessons. Delivering lessons to a variety of different groups and ages. Travelling to various sites during your working week. Administration and paperwork tasks relating to classes and pupils. Knowledge, Training and Experience required 2 years’ experience working with children; teaching or voluntary. UK Coaching Certificate Level 2 in their specialist sport. Hold a minimum of 2 coaching badges or equivalent or working towards (Any level) Ability to deliver at least 2 areas of the PE curriculum (combinations of Games and Dance, Games and Gymnastics, Dance and Gymnastics) GCSE Maths and English. First Aid and Child Protection Training Desirable. Committed to continuous professional development and willingness to undertake training where necessary.
