Graduate Developer (C# .Net, SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript) - Crawley, West Sussex - up to £28,000 The Ashdown Group has been engaged by an International and highly respected software house to find a Junior Developer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a bright, talented technology enthusiast to contribute to both short and long-term development projects through the full lifecycle (SDLC). You will work alongside other experienced developers in a supportive environment and gain exposure to a broad range of technologies. To be considered for this role you must have a degree in a relevant discipline i.e. Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Games Development, Mathematics - or similar. Any commercial experience (this could have been gained via a placement year or internship) will strongly support your application. Academic or commercial skills with the below technologies are required: * C# .Net * HTML * CSS * JavaScript * SQL The remit of the role is to develop new data driven web applications to support the business infrastructure and processes and maintain and features to the existing applications within the internal systems architecture. You will assist with the integration of new bespoke or third-party applications and develop and support a variety of business systems. Whilst not essential, any experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies, MVC, VB.Net, UI development, AJAX, or XML would be of interest. This is a permanent position offering a basic salary of £24-28,000 per annum dependent on depth of relevant skills and experience, plus a substantial benefits package.
