Quay Plastics are recruiting a Driver / Warehouse person at their depot in Middlesbrough offering a salary of £16,230 per annum. Reporting directly to the Depot Supervisor you will illustrate general warehouse duties to maintain a clean and efficient warehouse and ensure an effective delivery service to all customers in accordance with Epwin Group policies. Driver/Warehouse - Responsibilities include: * To provide a safe, comfortable, punctual service to customers at all times under the direction of Supervisor & in line with the company driver policy, and to maintain a customer focused attitude at all times as per the Companies Customer Service Charter. * To comply with company rules and policies on Health & Safety, cash handling & delivery authorisation. * Comply with legal requirements covering Drivers Hours Regulations. * Responsible for general warehouse duties i.e. decanting stock, disposing of packaging, stock picking, loading vehicles & general depot tidiness. * Maintain regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality & personal appearance. * To be available for stocktakes and additional working hours as outlined in the company employment handbook. * Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, customers. * The successful applicant will also be required to provide assistance serving customers on the trade counter using our computer system. Although this job description covers the main duties, flexibility and team work are required in the interest of the overall business. You may therefore be required to undertake other duties required by your supervisor/manager. Skills/Attributes: * Good communication skills. * Ability to use their own initiative. * An up to date FLT license would be advantageous although not essential. * Ability to drive a 3.5T Panel van Benefits: * 24 days holiday plus bank holidays * Hours: 8am - 5.15pm Monday to Friday, 8am - 11.30am every other Saturday. 43.25 hours per week.
