SHEQ Manager (Safety, Health, Environment & Quality) We have an excellent opportunity for a SHEQ Manager (Safety, Health, Environment and Quality) to join the growing Heathrow team within the UKs leading engineering and support services organisation. As the SHEQ Manager some of your responsibilities shall include to manage the day to day SHEQ activities within the Baggage, Projects & Schiphol segments designated sites in conjunction with local management and in line with local and overall business objectives. Responsibilities Lead and be responsible for the Safety Behaviour Programme across the operation and continue to develop a strong SHEQ culture. Provide a proactive risk based approach compliant with legislation to ensure all staff "go home safe everyday". Manage all Risk Assessments, Method Statements and Safe Systems of work applicable to the business, ensure timely reviews, appropriate involvement and implementation of appropriate control measures. Manage the process of and lead on Health & Safety inspections, produce reports on findings and any follow up actions. Champion site energy usage and produce quarterly energy figures for Gas, Electricity, Water and Land Fill Waste (Carbon Footprint) to the Head of SHEQ / QA Manager. Conduct scheduled and periodic internal SHEQ audits (as dictated by findings of audits and inspections), under the direction of the Head of SHEQ / QA Manager and in liaison with trained internal auditors. Ensure investigations are completed within designated timescales, and implementation of appropriate control measures to prevent recurrence. Personally be involved in serious accidents and high impact near misses. Monitor and analyse accident, incident and near miss trends, and ensure the preparation of monthly reports to the Head of SHEQ and segment Directors. Experience Good verbal and written communication skills Able to build rapport and maintain relationships A proactive approach with the ability to work well in a team Ability to make safety conscious, risk based decisions. Ability to influence SHEQ effectively at all levels, adapting style and approach as required. An understanding of IT systems and their application in an office and fleet management environment. Proven experience in SHEQ Leadership. Qualifications NEBOSH Diploma or working towards. Further information: Possible frequent Travel to Inter/National sites Must hold UK Driving Licence Eligible to obtain a valid Airside Pass Successful candidate must be able to obtain Airside Security. This includes a CRB check and 5 years of referencing. Career breaks of a 2 week period or longer much also be referenced and accounted for. This process can take 2.5 months+ however can be reduced if you promptly provide all information required.
