Software Test Engineer - Tactical Networks (IP Networking) - SC 5 X URGENT Contract SC cleared Software Test Engineers, required to work as part of a team with responsibility for the testing of the Communication Management System (CMS) software. CMS consists of sophisticated software based products and is used by the British Army. Experience of software test script creation and test execution (Test Automation) Experience of supporting customers Experience of using Configuration Management tools (Ideally Rational Team Concert) Experience of using Requirement Management tools (Ideally DOORS) Experience of installing/administering and working with software products A good customer facing manner, and some experience of working on a customer site. Good problem solving skills Some experience of training Operators in the use of tested equipment. You should be skilled in Requirements analysis, Test Authoring, Component Testing, Formal acceptance DOORS. Additional skills : Experience in an Automated test tool (Test Partner, SilkTest) Good problem solving skills, fault diagnosis, proven team player, ability to communicate and interact with development and integration teams Domain Knowledge Tactical Communications, Tactical Networks (IP Networking).
