Senior Software Developer (Java) A progressive company with a vibrant and collaborative approach to Software Development are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join their team. The Senior Java Developer will be given the chance to have a significant impact on the business as they look to keep moving forwards. The Senior Java Developer will be required to bring a range of ideas and suggestions gained from experience of working across a range of technical projects, in their career so far. The Senior Java Developer will also thrive in a collaborative team environment and be confident sharing their expertise and knowledge. The main responsibilities of the Senior Software Developer will include: * Delivery of individual workload and targets within a team environment. * Mentoring and enabling growth of junior developers. * Provide technical expertise across the company including liaison with non-technical departments. The successful Senior Software Developer will have the following skills and experience: * Commercial Java Development * Experience in some of the following: * RDBMS XML * Application Servers * Web Services / AWS * Junit Spring, Hibernate * Maven, GIT, Jenkins, HTML, JavaScript * Strong understanding of and enthusiasm for Agile. * Knowledge of designing within an Agile culture. * Exposure to Continuous Integration or Continuous Delivery (Desirable) This is an excellent opportunity to work for a company who invest in their staff and have a commitment to the working environment and conditions.
