LOCATION: Sheffield, South Yorkshire JOB TITLE: Purchasing Administrator SALARY & BENEFITS: Depending on experience WORKING HOURS: Full time – Monday to Friday 9am-5pm THE COMPANY: Our client has established itself as one of the leading competitors in the construction, demolition, plant and waste management industries. Operating mainly in South Yorkshire they often extend their area of operation upon request. THE ROLE: The role of the Purchasing Assistant will involve all aspects of purchase ledger from receiving invoices to payments also nominal analysis. Key Responsibilities/Duties of a Purchasing Administrator to include:-To ensure all incoming invoices are logged on to the system accurately.To distribute all non relevant invoices to other colleagues.Preparation of payment runs.To check invoices and liaise with managers to get them signed off.To match invoices with advice notes.Preparing invoices for different payment runs. THE CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a purchase ledger position or have worked in that environment. They will have a smart appearance with excellent communication skills. The successful Purchasing Administrator will have excellent attention to detail, excellent organisation skills and will be able to communicate with people at all levels. Key experience essential for the role of Purchasing Administrator based in Sheffield:Previous experience within a purchase ledger environment.Will have a good understanding of Mathematics.Qualified to AAT standards will be desirable.Any previous experience in the demolition plant industry will be desirable but not essential.Must be within a commutable distance of Sheffield.
