About the job The Laundry Assistant actively supports the well-being of residents by making sure their clothing, bed linen and towels are fresh and clean. You’ll take time to understand and respect people’s wishes regarding their clothing and personal effects. The Laundry Assistant makes cleanliness their top priority. At times, basic mending/sewing skills may be required. You’ll have daily contact with residents, relatives and guests, so a warm personality and good customer care is essential. You’ll be using machinery in the laundry room so a clear understanding of health and safety is important and full training is provided. About you Ideally, you’ll have previous experience in a similar role and used to working to high standards.
