Position - Registered Learning Disability Nurse - Behavioural Support Services - South Yorkshire. Ref - DBCABARN. Salary - £ £13.50 - £14.50ph. Full Time- Permanent Full Time. Our clients are seeking registered Learning Disability Nurses (RNLDs) to be part of a brand new Nursing team and to join a brand new unit opening in South Yorkshire.  Our Client provides services for adults with intellectual disabilities, adult complex behavioural support services and complex needs. Successful candidates will be responsible for the coordination, assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care for adult patients presenting Learning Disabilities and additional diagnosis in accordance with National Minimum Standards and company procedures. Job Profile. As a Registered Learning Disability Nurse you will :. Supervise and support members of the team. Provide information, coaching and instruction where required for achieving the objectives of the service. To delegate, monitor and evaluate the performance of members of the team. To ensure staff implement activities and programmes in accordance with prescribed plans of care. To motivate staff and promote morale. Be the named nurse to assigned patients and take responsibility for devising and implementing care plans for them. Leading handover periods, including delegation of duties, thus ensuring that each member of staff has a clear idea of tasks and commitments.
