This is an opportunity to join the largest supplier to the UKs jewellery industry, offering customers over 16,000 products in various precious metals including silver, gold, palladium and platinum. They have an exciting opportunity for a Web Developer to join their expanding team. As their Web Developer you will be part of their Ecommerce team and work closely with their marketing agencies. In this role you will be working on both UK and International development. Their opportunity will allow you to apply your knowledge and skillset to influence their companys performance from the start. You will be responsible for: - Development and maintenance of their Ecommerce platform. - Development and implementation of third party software to the Ecommerce and information led sites. - Maintenance of security compliance, particularly PCI DSS. - Implementation of ad hoc digital projects. You will be of graduate calibre, ideally having worked within Ecommerce previously, where you will have become a creative problem-solver. In addition you will have: - Proven web development and Ecommerce systems experience. - An excellent appreciation of design, usability and interactivity. - Knowledge of key IT and web development software which may include JSP, PHP, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Jquery, XML, JAVA, Microsoft SQL. - API knowledge. - Must enjoy working in a fast paced environment, be flexible and have excellent attention to detail. - Experience of using additional IT software such as Tomcat and JSON would be advantageous as would experience of Google Analytics. - Though not essential Mobile App (including IOS) and responsive development experience would be advantageous.
