Security Officer - Bedford SIA Licensed Security Officers required to join an established team at the prestigious site at our Bedford site. Immediate Start Available for the right candidate Remuneration: £7.00 per hour, upon completion of a satisfactory 3 month probationary period and performance appraisal. Driving license required. Security Officer duties include, but are not limited to; •Providing an onsite, professional security presence, •Providing a deterrent to criminal activity, theft and anti-social behaviour, •Providing protection for customers, property and staff, •Carry out patrols and search and emergency procedures, •Carry out other duties as agreed by client. To succeed in this role you will; •Have excellent communication skills •Be computer literate, •View punctuality as important, •Have a professional demeanour with sound judgement, •Have excellent customer service skills, •Be capable of working on your own initiative, •Be willing to work as part of a team of Security Officers •First aid is beneficial but not essential. Successful candidates will be part of a 24/7 rota, taking part in working shifts of days, nights and weekends. Part of a rolling shift pattern 48 hours + in a team of security officers. All applications will be reviewed in accordance with BS7858 standards. Security screening is a requirement of the post and applicants must provide a full checkable 5 year work/ school history.
