Marketing Executive Location: Reading (RG1 7JX) Salary: A GBP 30,000 Our client is looking for a new Marketing Executive to join their thriving team in their European Head Office in Reading. You will be integral in maintaining revenues from the vital lifeblood of the business : their customers. This varied role will present opportunities for customer engagement through a series of campaigns, events and product launches. Running campaigns is massively important part of this role, as well as supporting the marketing specialists in your team who focus on their key areas within Payments and Financial Document Automation. Forging close working relationships with the Sales and Product Marketing functions is vital to this role in order to plan, define message, segment audiences and execute the best campaigns possible. They are looking for a self starter with a background in marketing, ideally with industry experience. Responsibilities * Contributing to the planning of an overall marketing plan to support strategic, line of business and product focused revenue plans * Planning and scheduling campaigns cross:selling the portfolio to their extensive customer base is a major focus of this role * Planning and executing new product launches aimed at extending the product footprint within their customers organisations * Organising and attending customer events : seminars, conferences and workshops pitched at different stages of the buying cycle * Scheduling and executing demand gen and nurturing campaigns using business tools such as Marketo and Salesforce * Planning and managing campaigns against a required outcome related to the value and volume of opportunities * Working closely with the content team, create appropriate content : written / multimedia / advertising / online : to drive and nurture a campaign message throughout the buying cycle * Maintaining a budget against which chosen campaigns will deliver an expected return on investment (ROI) * Liaising and networking with a range of stakeholders including customers, colleagues, suppliers and 3rd party organisations * Communicating internally to the line of business (LOB) teams regarding campaigns and how they support the revenue objectives * Leveraging and utilising industry intelligence and marketing knowledge to add value to campaigns Requirements * At least 3 years experience in marketing assisting in the development and execution of effective marketing campaigns * Expertise in working with different marketing channels, in particular email marketing, B2B, and events * Experience in writing comprehensive compelling copy for internal and external communications Our client is a global software company, who power mission critical business transactions.
