Bluebird Care (New Forest and Southampton) are looking for Live-in Care Assistants for a number of assignments across the New Forest. Bluebird Care is a leading national provider of care at home. We provide care in our customers' homes with individual care planning and customers welfare being the centre of our culture. We are seeking caring, warm, compassionate and committed live-in care assistants to join us in helping our customers to remain in the comfort and security of their own home. Our dedicated team of live-in care assistants are supported by our domiciliary care teams coverin What does a Bluebird Care Live-in Care assistant do? As a live-in care assistant you will care and support your customers with personal care, meal preparation, house keeping and cleaning duties if required, medication prompting, shopping and companionship. With a focus on private customers, we look for our live-in care assistants to provide the very highest standards of care at home. You will support the customer with the daily chores about 8-10 hours of unmeasured work a day. A range of shift patters are available including longer term, 2 weeks on/2 weeks off, 3 weeks on/1 week off and occasional respite care. Most care assistants eventually settle longer term in for a maximum of 8 weeks with the customer. What does a Bluebird Care Live-in Care Assistant receive? All of our Live-in Care Assistants will receive an initial training programme prior to any assignments. Further where appropriate, we are keep to support the career development of our Live-in Care Assistants (e.g. training in Dementia Care). Our pay rates vary per customer care from £455 per week to £560 per week (high intensity) plus holiday pay. Complex care rates are individually discussed.
