Job description:
We are looking for Band 5 nurses to join our Community Nursing teams in Bedfordshire to provide clinical care at home. We prevent hospital admissions and enable early discharge from acute settings. You will be an autonomous practitioner who is trusted to deliver high quality care to patients in their home. You will become a member of a highly respected team who works closely with GPS, hospital staff, local authority colleagues and other members of our wider community team. We expect our staff to be compassionate, energetic with a drive and commitment to provide care you would expect your family and friends to receive. In return we will support your development, listen to your ideas and provide supervision, mentorship and training. Our Trust was in the top centile for the national staff survey. If you are ambitious, dynamic and committed with a good work ethic we want you to become a member of our team. Experience in the field of adult community services is desirable but not essential as we can support you with our career enhancing competency framework. A willingness to learn and contribute is far more important. The Community Nursing Service operates between 08.00 to 22.00 hours and successful candidates will work a variety of shifts, including weekends, evenings and bank holidays. Access to a car in order to carry out service duties is essential although we do provide lease and salary sacrifice cars.
