Job title - Senior Software Tester (Senior Tester). Location - Hanslope Park, Milton Keynes. Salary - £40,269 to £45,691 (with a potential to earn £48,322) Plus up to a £5,000 welcome package*. HMGCC’s Test and Evaluation teams work with advanced technologies to deliver world class products, often to demanding deadlines. You’ll enjoy the scope to structure the testing process to deliver quality results that meet customer needs. Assessing a variety of options, identifying the best solution, designing procedures, delivering relevant documentation and interpreting and recording results, you’ll lead the entire test cycle for a variety of bespoke cutting edge systems. Your profile. With an ISEB Intermediate or equivalent software testing qualification, you will have experience of writing test strategies for complex and challenging projects. You will also have a record of designing test cases, creating test scripts and identifying relevant data for integration, system, performance and regression testing to the highest levels. Your ability to interpret, record and report test results and recommendations accurately and concisely will be crucial, as will your knowledge of operating systems and associated technologies. You will enjoy the challenge of leading a variety of software testing activities, developing creative solutions and assessing different testing approaches to find the best approach. With the ability to manage your own and other people’s work, you will have a keen eye for detail and a focus on meeting challenging deadlines.
