Commercial Director - Tech City Enterprise SaaS / Software for Retail Shoreditch 80,000 - 120,000 Depending on experience Base + OTE Bonus + Equity + Pension & Health We are a fast growing enterprise B2B SaaS model company, working with leading High Street names, within telco, retail, hospitality and health. We are currently looking to recruit a highly focused individual to the position of Commercial Director. This individual will have a proven record of success within the business to business environment and the necessary experience of working in a fast paced environment. The role will involve leading the sales team and developing a strong sales strategy both in the UK and internationally.  We see this role as strategic to the continued growth of the company and will initially report directly to the board, however as the business develops our expectations are that this will develop into a board level position. > Starting base salary: 80,000 - 120,000 Depending on experience  > Significant OTE earnings and uncapped commission. > Equity stock options subject to success > Company pension and Health benefits > Business expenses in-line with position As this is a development role, the successful candidate will work closely with our London based team, therefore will be required to be available to them a minimum of 3 days per week.  Commercial Director Key Focuses: > Develop and implement a growth focused UK and international commercial strategy > Manage, develop and organise a team of high performance sales, business development and account management personnel > To manage and report on commercial finances, forecasts and pipeline activities to the CEO and board > Work directly to the CEO as a key collaborator on market activity and strategy to ensure business growth > Identify profitable commercial opportunities and implement them in order to grow revenue and market share > Build, develop and oversee the company pipeline, managing key customer relationships and negotiating with customers to close deals > Identify and develop strategic partnerships and relationships that increase exposure and sales of the companys products to our target industries > Maintain and awareness of competitor activities and analyse how the company can improve its work and strategy to ensure greater market share Ideal candidates profile and skill set: > Organised and highly efficient. Able to work smart  > Dedicated and ambitious, able to handle high work demands. > BA degree level candidate or higher, experience and track record more important > Minimum of 10 in client facing sales and business development positions > Minimum of 5 in building and managing sales teams > Experienced in developing and maintaining a solid sales pipeline, both for themselves and also their team > Able to build lasting commercial client relationships  > Experience in negotiating at C level and most importantly, one of closing deals > A good Business sense with a strong understanding of business finances and commercial metrics > Able to easily use basic technology required in a sales role You may have worked in the following capacities: Head of Sales, Sales Director, Business Development Director, Commercial Strategy Director, SaaS Sales, Software Sales, Enterprise B2B Sales, Epos Systems, Retail Software Systems, Tech Sales. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Commercial Director role is being managed by agency innovator RecruitmentRevolution.com.
