We offer packages tailored to our customer’s needs, enabling them to remain independent in their own homes. We are currently recruiting for full time or part time Care Assistants in Frome/Shepton Mallet who can work a mixture of morning and evenings shifts and two shifts on alternate weekends, to provide all aspects of care to a wide range of customers in their own homes. As this is a mobile role, candidates MUST have their own car and live in or close to the local area. Upon completion of probation, salary starts at £8.50 per hour weekdays, £10.5 per hour weekends plus 35p per mile. A career/pay structure that affords the opportunity to boost earnings to £9 per hour weekdays and £11.00 per hour weekends, to those seeking to build a career in care! The Care Assistant will be expected to provide all care, including: • Assisting customers to get up, dressed and prepared for the day • Washing, bathing, showering, oral care , grooming • Toileting, assisting with use of commode • Continence management • Using manual handling equipment • Assisting customers to go to bed, including undressing and washing • Preparation of meals and feeding assistance • General household duties • Bed making and laundry • Shopping and supplies management In addition to our competitive rates of pay and mileage, we also offer: • Full training - NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED • Uniform and Company phone We also support towards NVQ qualifications for those looking to pursue a career in care.
