What: Property Office Administrator Where: Nottingham When: Immediate start Salary: £16000 - £20000 (dependent on experience) An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time administrator with property experience to join a successful and well established property group. Specialising in managing large privately owned residential and commercial property portfolio including several serviced office centres. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, enthusiastic and can demonstrate a can do attitude with great communication skills. Excellent attention to detail is required and the ability to work under pressure in a fast moving environment. Experience in the property industry is vital. A competitive salary package is offered dependant on experience and industry qualifications as are 28 days holidays including bank holidays. The Property Office Administrator will be responsible for overseeing the day to day administration of the office and the entire property portfolio involving: · Administration for tenants/client records · Maintaining all office systems · Organisation and record keeping including Notices for Evictions, Inventories and Photographs · Organising maintenance works in conjunction with landlord · Being point of contact, liaising directly with tenants & clients · Receipting rent payments, including chasing and balancing overdue payments · Managing deposit payments with chosen tenancy deposit scheme · Issuing contractor payments in conjunction with accounts department · Book-keeping and data entry · Producing accurate Assured Shorthold Tenancy agreements using templates (and all other lettings documents) when required · Answering telephones/emails to enquires · Liaising with local councils and utility companies · Obtaining quotes for utilities, organising renewals and any general administration · Organising and managing periodic electrical inspections, gas safety inspection, fire and intruder alarm maintenance and inspections and occasionally EPCs Previous experience as a Property Office Administrator is required with knowledge of the lettings or property management industry essential. A good understanding of Word, Excel is a must, as is excellent communication skills and proficiency in English. The applicant must have the ability to work well on their own and under pressure to deliver key results. Driving licence is not essential as role is predominately office based.
