About the Client: My client based in Cardiff, is part of a small community of award winning care homes and they are looking for a General Manager to join their team. As a General Manager you will be hands on and use your experience and knowledge of working within the care sector to run a successful facility. Duties: As the General Manager, you will work alongside the SMT in order to uphold the values and visions of the company itself. You will manage both clinical and non-clinical teams ensuring patient needs are met and all care is patient focused. You will spend your time as the General Manager developing the home ensuring all improvements are made and are kept in line with regulatory standard. Communication is key in your role as General Manager. Not only with your staff members but also with residents and their families. About the Individual: You will need a minimum of 2 years in home management with a proving track record of delivering improvements and budget management. A Registered Managers award (ILM 5 or equivalent) is essential. Nursing qualification is desirable.
