Lecturer in Fine Art – Drawing / Painting /Sculpture Permanent, Part Time 29.6 hours per week (4 days) Salary: Unqualified: £21,001- £22,727 per annum, pro rata Qualified: £23,409 - £32,425 per annum, pro rata (Dependant on Skills and Qualifications) We require a highly accomplished and practical Fine Art lecturer to lead our drawing and painting provision across our UAL FE provision – Level 1 to Foundation Diploma in Art & Design (L3/4) Do you have high levels of formal drawing skills and experience of delivering project drawing and life drawing to FE students ? Do you have expertise in painting, colour theory and an extensive knowledge of art history and contemporary practice? Do you have knowledge of 3D process and are able to teach Sculpture? Are you a resilient, hard working, creative thinker and motivator ? Can you inspire students ? Are you able to think on your feet and multi-task? Above all do you enjoy working with people in a fast paced environment ? If you believe you can answer yes to all of the above questions then this role may be for you! As well as providing a wide range of teaching on a a number of programmes within your area of specialism, you will also provide pastoral support for students, departmental duties and have designated role on one of our main programmes, either as course leader or year tutor .
