Mechanical Fitter (HGV) – Norwich - Permanent – £ per hr We are currently looking to recruit an experienced HGV / LGV Fitter / Technician to work in Norwich. Reporting directly to the Workshop Manager The main duties will include carrying out service and repair and fault diagnosis on a fleet of heavy goods vehicles.  Working to the high standards of the manufacturer and our client.  Fitters/Technicians need to ensure faults are accurately diagnosed on vehicle condition, safety, reliability and performance. Additionally, you may be required to attend to roadside breakdowns, a Class 1 or 2 licence would therefore be an advantage. You will need to be an experienced/qualified Fitter/ Technician. Must have previous experience of working for a dealership or garage or similar. You will need to hold a full UK driving licence (a HGV Licence would be advantageous but is non-essential).  Must be reliable and able to work on your own initiative, own your own hand tools and be a good team player. You must be able to produce a high standard of work focusing on quality and cope with working in a busy environment.  Equally you must be motivated to work towards targets set for yourself and your team. This is a great opportunity to work within a large group and relevant personal development and manufacturer training will be given. HOURS:  Monday to Friday 8am-5:30pm, Saturday 9am – 12pm SALARY: £10-12 per hour (negotiable pending experience) on a 45 hour working week. Overtime may be available.
