Your new company A brokerage firm based in the heart of London are seeking a Head of Compliance to manage a team of 4 compliance staff. Your new role As the successful candidate you will be managing a team of 4, ensuring that the firm maintains accurate, detailed and up to date compliance records across all areas of the business. You will be responsible for ensuring the business complies with the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000, the FCA Statements of Principle & Code of Practice and the relevant FCA rules at all times. In addition you will ensure that the firm has adequate data security policies and procedures in place and that these are implemented properly. Produce, review and monitor the firms Financial Crime Policy Statement on an ongoing basis whilst ensuring regulatory reports required by FCA are submitted on time. You will be working alongside the business and Legal to conduct due diligence of third party distributors. As the Head of Compliance you will attend all board meetings and deliver the report findings to Senior Management. What youll need to succeed You must hold CF10 and CF11 functions and have at least 3 years experience as a Compliance Officer or Head of Compliance with leadership skills. The successful candidate will have specific understanding and knowledge of the rules surrounding brokerage. It is essential you will have broad compliance knowledge and understanding of other relevant legislation, including that related to financial crime. What you need to do now...
