Job description:
You will be responsible for ensuring clinical staff are clear about their role and ensure full compliance with professional and national standards in line with the values of the client, ensuring residents receive an excellent standard of personalised care. You will be expected to work 40 hours per week (generally 8am-5pm Mon-Fri, but some flexibility to work evenings and weekends is expected). Job Purpose  • To provide professional leadership for nurses according to the codes of the NMC, and clinical leadership for allied health professionals and health carers in order to promote clinical excellence. • Liaise closely with the General Manager on all aspects of potential clinical risks and provide clinical leadership on the management and control of clinical risks.  • In liaison with the General Manager, ensure the promotion and achievement of clinically effective and person cantered care models and pathways that best support residents’ physical, physiological and social needs.  • Support Unit Managers with preparations for resident’s Care and Multi-Disciplinary Team Reviews and reports.  • Assist the General Manager with the development and implementation of the Company’s Clinical Strategy, and actively participate in the setting, monitoring and achievement of corporate objectives to support PJ Care’s continued development and success.  Candidate Requirements  • Dual Qualified Or RGN/RMN • Hold valid NMC registration  • At least 3 years management experience, two of which will be in the private sector  • Successful and effective handling of care reviews and complaint resolution • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Working knowledge of regulatory bodies requirements, e.g. CQC • Working knowledge of relevant legislative requirement: MCA, SOVA, DoLs, Clinical Governance • Competence in Medication Practice • DBS and POVA clearance Benefits • Access to an award winning career development path • Childcare Vouchers  • Holiday and Travel Discounts. • Generous annual leave. • Long service rewards  • Personal Accident and illness insurance  All positions are subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service check prior to appointment.
