Interserve Healthcare is recruiting now for Care Assistants to provide one to one support in a local care home £7.20 - £14.79 per hour. Mornings & evening shifts available We have been entrusted with the care of an elderly client residing within a local nursing home. Our client has parkinson's and dementia requiring one to one support ensuring all safety and medical needs are met. We are looking for Care Assistants who can commit to shift work, our shifts are rota based both mornings and evenings from the hours of 07.00-14.00 and 14.00-22.00 7 days per week. As Support Worker for this client you will be required to: • Provide personal care • Support with eating and drinking • Provide companionship • Socialise and support with activities both within and outside the home Ideally you will have previous experience and knowledge of care on a one to one basis, Parkinsons and Dementia care and have an awareness of mental health.
