We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Maintenance Electrician to join their team. Our client is a manufacturer of tools for use in the rock drilling, quarrying, mining, tunnelling, construction, civil engineering and demolition industries world:wide. Duties will include: * Ensures operation of electrical systems and equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on robots, conveyors, programmable controllers, transformers, voltage regulators, and machinery wiring; following electrical codes, manual, schematic diagrams, blueprints and other specifications. * Installs new machines and equipment by installing power supply wiring and conduit to and between machines and equipment; using hand tools and test equipment. * Repairs and replaces faulty electrical components by using testing equipment and hand tools to install relays, switches, motors, printed circuit boards and position:sensing devices. Skills/Qualifications: * Be a fully qualified electrician with 17th Edition qualification. * Have some mechanical skills. * Ideally be Ipaf trained. * Have experience in manufacturing/production/environment. * It literate Due to the high volumes of applications we are currently receiving, unfortunately we are only able to contact candidates who are successful in progressing to the next stage.
