JOB DUTIES : To undertake specialist driving duties for example:- Macpac, Mechanical Sweeper, Chelsea Body Vehicle, Mobile Squad, Transit Van and non HGV driving duties within Refuse Collection and Waste Management services. OTHER INFO : Closing date is 7th March 2016 at 5pm. Position is temporary until 30th September 2016. Must be able to work on a shift pattern (to include weekend work). 17+ due to driving licence requirement. SALARY INFO : £16,231 - £17,372 EQUALITY STATEMENT : None.

Essential Criteria: - Driving licence with a C1 category. - Driver certificate of Technical Competence Initial Qualification (if licence obtained post 10 September 2009) and a minimum of 14 hours accreditation towards obtaining Drivers Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC). Or A minimum of 14 hours accreditation towards obtaining Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) if licence obtained prior to 10 September 2009 plus 1 year's experience undertaking specialist driving duties for example:- mechanical sweeper, Macpac, Chelsea Body Vehicle and transit van. - Experience of customer care when delivering front line services. - Experience of supervising a team. - Knowledge of Health and Safety issues relating to the operation of C1 Category Vehicles. - Formal customer care training. Must be able to understand written and verbal communication in English.
