We are looking for innovative and passionate designers with UI and/or UX skills to join our product development organisation based in York to deliver world class user experiences. Key duties and responsibilities: *You will be key in defining the organisation's product strategy *Making the functionality of our websites usable, enjoyable and simple *Working with marketing on a clear style guide and feel *Stay up to date with the latest technology and UI trends *Produce wireframes and visual design comps *Produce storyboards, user flows and site maps *Establish and promote design guidelines and best practices *Assisting in the developing a design centre of excellence Required Skills: *Strong working knowledge of design software such as Illustrator, Photoshop or OmniGraffle *Creative flair *Sketching and storyboarding skills *Understanding of responsive design *Strong team player *Positive and committed *Attention to detail Desired experience: *Experience working as part of an Agile team *Prototyping tools such as Principle, Origami, Azure and Pixate Knowledge of web technologies Good communication skills, able to present ideas User research skills Experience mentoring junior staff *Experience designing for mobile
