We are working with a leading freight forwarder in the Greater Glasgow area. We are looking to speak to experienced, target driven business developers/ sales candidates. Key Duties and Responsibilities: To seek out new business opportunities and convert these into new clients for the business. To establish and develop new relationships with clients who requires full logistics support for their business. To work with new and existing clients to ensure all potential revenue streams are explored and that clients benefit from the fully multi modal global Logistics service the company provides. Appoint and carry out required numbers of calls/ visits to new and existing clients. Manage diary to ensure best possibly productivity in the week. Work from office 1 -2 days per week making appointments, completing Requests for Information etc. To present to potential new clients how the company can meet their needs for logistics support and provide a clear solution to all the requirements. Meet revenue and GP targets. Key Skills Required: Experience of freight forwarding industry. sales experience highly desirable but company willing to look at a commercially minded operations professional looking to move into sales. Ability to present in front of individuals/panels. IT literate (PowerPoint, Microsoft packages). Confident, presentable, with excellent communication skills. Determined, resilient. Drivers licence, (max 6 points preferred) This role comes with a highly competitive salary and bonus structure as well as the opportunity to work with a very successful company.
