Job description:
We are looking for a technical assistant to join our busy, friendly office working on a wide range of exciting projects in the UK and abroad. Current work includes: * Masterplanning in the UK and overseas; * Major urban designs in Kent, Essex and Cambridgeshire; * Strategic Assessments and Environmental Assessments in the UK and overseas; * Detailed design and implementation of new Parks and Public Open Spaces; and * Major mineral, waste and energy schemes. We are looking for someone with enthusiasm and commitment with excellent design, CAD, written and presentation skills. You will be expected to take an active role as part of the design team, supporting senior staff in a wide range of work. You will be expected to have a good working knowledge of AutoCAD, Office, Photoshop, GIS and SketchUp. 3D modelling experience is preferred. Most importantly your professional abilities should include consistent and high quality work and being client focused and proactive. Key personal qualities should include enthusiasm, commitment and flexibility. The position offers a wide variety of experience and provides an excellent opportunity for career progression.
