JOB DUTIES : Duties include: To work at height on ladders or up to a height of 12m from highlift platforms. Replacing electrical components. Making safe damaged equipment. Inspecting existing installations as instructed and record and report defects to the Supervisor. Ensure that work is carried out with regard to Roads Service Health and Safety Policy, Safety at Streetworks and Road Works Code of Practice, and Chapter 8 of the Traffic Signs Manual. When appointed, the candidate will be trained and registered with the National Highways Sector Scheme body.
