Position: Service Manager Location: Gainsborough, Lincolnshire Salary: £32,500 per annum About the Role: The Service Manager is accountable for the day to day delivery of lettings, support, and engagement services in full accordance with legislative and regulatory requirements and the company's strategies, policies, and procedures. Within this role you will be responsible for the day to day supervision, motivation, management and direction of a team delivering lettings, support, and engagement services, setting, monitoring, and reviewing individual and team targets at agreed times and frequencies. You will hold staff to account for their performance and make sure that they are visible and work on an increasingly mobile basis as supporting technology is developed. Furthermore you will have responsibility for proactive community development and resident involvement activity across all operational locations. As a recognised point of contact you will positively engage with tenant groups and representatives on lettings, sheltered housing management, tenancy support, and community engagement / resident involvement. You will also ensure effective landlord management of the sheltered housing schemes, and consistent day to day management and coordination of the lettings process and its delivery in accordance with the Choice Based Lettings or Lettings policy applicable to each local authority area where the company operates. About You: To be successful in this role you will hold or be working towards Chartered Institute of Housing Professional Qualification or equivalent and have a well-developed knowledge of housing management policies regulatory requirements. With an understanding of current housing legislation and best practice and community engagement / tenant involvement activities, you will be able to provide high quality tenancy management; tenancy support provision; property lettings management. In addition you will be able to successfully manage, motivate and develop effective teams with a performance focus and be able to show collaborative working in a multi-disciplinary service. You will also be computer literate, with knowledge of PC based office management systems. Furthermore you will have the ability to monitor and control expenditure, produce clear reports on complex topics and have the willingness and ability to attend regular evening meetings.
