Job title: Night Shift Transport Supervisor

Job description:
Due to continued growth our client is looking to recruit a Night Shift Transport Supervisor for their site located in the East Midlands. Key responsibilities of this role include :- • Route planning to optimise vehicle usage, fuel and drivers hours. • Monitor vehicle maintenance and service costs. • Accident and damage investigation and reporting • Issue drivers procedures • Ensure Tachograph charts are analysed, filed and any infringements are managed. • Achievement of KPI's • Maintain high standards of Health and Safety This role is working night shifts but will need a certain amount of flexibility, the successful candidate will have the full support and report to a Trunking Manager. Your experience will include: • Experience in a transport environment for a demanding customer; • Passionate, resilient and with a positive outlook in difficult situations; • Be flexible in approach and availability to meet business needs. • Transport planning experience • Strong administrative skills • Comprehensive knowledge of transport legislation including drivers hours and fleet requirements • Good geographical knowledge of UK • Have effective management skills to ensure routes run on time.
