CHP Service Engineer - Flexible UK - Salary £30,000 - £40,000 + over time, car, laptop and mobile!. Green Recruitment Solutions are currently seeking a CHP Service Engineer for a market leading Biogas company. You will be part of a team providing 24/7 cover for a growing portfolio of Anaerobic Digestion facilities across the UK, undertaking both planned and reactive maintenance. This is an excellent opportunity to join a market leading Biogas with Several Plants across the UK and many more across mainland Europe. The ideal candidate will be a multi-skilled engineer with experience of carrying out mechanical / electrical maintenance work on CHP facilities. Alternatively, you will be a Service Engineer with experience of landfill gas engines or have experience in dealing with other gas gen sets. An engineering qualification is desired. Additionally, a good understanding / experience of gas engines and knowledge/ experience of controls and instrumentation will be advantageous. As a person, you must be able to work proactively and take initiative, as there is a lot of autonomy in the role on offer. A good work ethic is expected along with a willingness to get involved. You must be 'hands on' and not afraid of rolling up your sleeves and getting your hands dirty! A valid UK driver's licence is essential as a company vehicle will be provided. This is a field service role and so extensive travel can be expected with occasional overnight stays as and when required.
