Neighbourhood Housing Officer Full time 37 hours per week AGBP25,798 per annum Birkenhead Following a recent change programme, our client are now looking to recruit a Neighbourhood Officer within their Specialist Housing Services team. This role is full time, 37 hours per week and it is based in their Head Office in Birkenhead. The overall purpose of the role is to ensure that their tenants sustain their tenancies by paying their rent and looking after the condition of the property whilst adhering to the terms of their Tenancy Agreement. Knowledge of law and policy related to housing management is essential and a housing qualification or related equivalent would be desirable. Our client are looking for someone with a positive and enthusiastic personality with a strong focus on customer service and delivery. The ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues and external agencies is critical to the role. In addition, the role holder must be confident in writing letters and producing reports. Excellent organisational skills, the ability to work under pressure and prioritise and meet deadlines will also be needed. Ideally, the individual will have an intermediate to high knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including word, outlook and excel. The successful candidate will need to drive, hold a full UK driving license and have access to a car for work. It will be expected that they will work hours that suit the customer base and the business need, carrying out evening and weekend appointments as necessary.
