Posted Position Title: Models Governance Manager Career Level: Experienced Function: Risk Management Function Segment: Modeling and Validation Location: United Kingdom, Netherlands U.S. State, China or Canada Provinces: City: London, Breda, Manchester Postal Code: W6 8BJ Relocation Assistance: No Role Summary/Purpose: This is an exciting role in the Risk Information Centre team of GE WCS reporting to the Risk Information Centre leader for WCS, the Model Governance will be responsible for models governance within the model governance framework from model development need specification till implementation and performance monitoring throughout the model lifecycle. Essential Responsibilities:. - Perform ongoing monitoring of WCS models inventory and consistency with CARMA. - Manage Model Governance Working Group meetings and related activities. - Streamline and maintain Transaction Re-Rating processes up to date. - Support new models development initiatives by designing standard data extract templates, suggesting new key variables addition, supporting model design and implementation…. - Supporting the implementation and use of models. - Manage Policy and Procedure Framework: ensure WCS compliance to the different policies & procedures and develop gap assessment. - Drafting model documentation to SR11-7 standards. - Ensure HQ model acceptance. - Drive prioritization to ensure most critical areas are addressed. This includes assessing: regulatory implications and business impact. - Manage Quarterly model inventory attestation and model inventory up to date. - Anticipate models Expiry and build initiate validation and/renewal of the models. - Liaise with business teams to uncover and highlight model risk associated with models and meaningfully convey model risks to senior management. - Make conclusions on the models overall efficacy, as well as preparing written recommendations to resolve issues with the models that are encountered during validation jointly with modeling COE. - Responsibility for providing modelling guidanc
